Winco

I needed my grocery store fix and decided that to get that shopping high I needed Winco. Of course an ad is coming in our mail tomorrow and I should have waited, but I got some great deals.

-Discounted box of Honey Nut Cheerios (top had been ripped) $1.00
I used a $1.00 off coupon that I got with a sample in the mail=FREE

-Candy Canes (boxes) .98 each

-Bananas .35lb (.39 at Smiths)

-grapes, red .98lb

-Bartlett pears .78lb (these are $1.00 at Smiths right now)

-1lb bag baby carrotts .78 (these are $1.00 at Smiths right now)

-Milk is still $1.48 a gallon- I bought 6 gallons

The next items I got in the bulk bin area:

oregano .28 ($3.11 lb) (it filled 2 of my spice containers that I had at home with a baggie size left over)

ground cloves .98 ($6.13lb-I got .16 of a lb and it was a baggie size filled)

Chicken boullion base $1.23 ($3.32lb)

Penne Pasta $2.10 for 2 1/2 lbs of dry pasta (it is .84 a pound!)

ground ginger .84 ($5.59lb)

My total was $29.52 and most of what I bought was fresh foods and milk. Now I am going to have to go back for the coupon deals in the ad. Field Trip anyone? :)

Watch for the sales ad coming in the mail:
Ragu pasta .98 limit 2

Langers Cranberry juice .98 limit 2

Green Giant canned veggies .28 limit 4

Bumble Bee Tuna .28 limit 3

Kelloggs pop tarts .78 limit 2

Pillsbury cake mix .48 limit 2

Plus more!

  1. I'm going Saturday morning bright and early because I need to get the cases of chicken for my family in Logan. Did you notice if they still have those 40 lb boxes for $0.98/lb? If you forgot anything, let me know and I'll pick it up for you when I go...or you could not sleep in and come with me :-)...without kids...
