Yesterday I went to Albertsons and bought tuna and easy mac for a great price. I bought 15 pouches at at time so that I could maximize my savings. The 33rd south store has little displays on the shelf with all the tuna with the $1.50/3 coupons right on them. There were a lot of coupons and quite a bit of tuna left.
Buy 15 pouches of 2.6 oz tuna = $1.25 each = $18.75
5 easy mac cups =$1.00 each = $5.00
-$15.oo for the buy 10 items get $5 off instantly
Use 5 $1.50/3 coupons for Tuna
I had a B1G1 easy mac coupon from the Parade magazine a couple of Sunday's ago.
3 $1.00 catalinas from my 1st tuna transaction the other day.
Total= $2.66 for 15 pouches of tuna and 5 easy macs. Plus get 3 $1 catalinas!
Saved = $27.55
The first transaction I spent $5.66 and then just rolled over the $1 catalinas into my next 2 orders. Plus I still have $3 in catalinas for my next trip. You may wonder what I am going to do with 45 pouches of tuna, well..........1 pack per sandwich x's 5 kids doesn't last as long as it seems. They are also great for traveling and camping, which we are doing next week.
FYI: I have 4 coupons for Albertsons that are $6 off a $75 purchase. I am pretty postitve that I won't be spending $75 on groceries in one trip............so let me know if anyone wants them or knows someone who could use them.
