Consider Consignment

Have you ever stood in front of your closet and hated everything in it? I had this problem about a week ago and started a mountainous pile of clothes I was sick of. Instead of DI I snagged a few of the still wearable items and decided to take them to my favorite consignment store. Many moons ago I worked for the Gap and had to wear all the current clothes in the store, it's safe to say that I had way too many clothes. I found a consignment store and resold my things. I was making close to $50 a month, but I also took quite a bit in. Now I take in clothes at the beginning of the new season. That way I can buy new and trendy clothes without breaking the bank. I get anywhere from $8-$40 a month depending on what I take in. Give it a try, all clothes need to be clean, pressed and on hangers. If you are a new consigner then you probably need to make an appointment to start off your account. Then you can do drop offs during the week. My favorite store that I have consigned with for the last 14 years is:

Consignment Circuit
1464 E 3300 S
801-486-6960
Clothing, Collectibles & Furniture

She has some fun collectables and jewelry. Check it out! Tell her Julene sent you.

I also love KID TO KID for children's clothing and toys. They pay cash for your items. Don't expect a ton of money but I think it is a fair price. I would just be giving the stuff away and if I can make a little cash I see it as a plus.

Every little bit helps and when you are couponing you realize how much you can buy for $8. I've had many people say, do you really get enough money to make it worth it? I do! So consider consigning!
